Our car broke down at Woolgoolga on a Sunday afternoon, and Tom from NRMA arrived on the scene in 30 minutes, and quickly worked out the problem as a faulty starter motor.

Tom made us feel very reassured, stating that we could have the car taken and stored in the workshop that Sunday afternoon, and that it would be priority number 1 come Monday morning. And that it was. All repairs done before 10am checkout from the Rosebourne garden motel. I was even taken and picked up from the motel.

The cost for all our troubles was $319. I don’t know if this is good or not, we were just happy to be on the road the next morning, in time for our trip up to the Sunshine Coast.

I would like to thank Tom and all the staff at Woolgoolga Auto Service for making our return on the road a big priority. Without your help and reassurance, we would be left stranded!

Shane and his team came to my aid several weeks ago when my Freelander came to grief on the Pacific Highway north of Woolgoolga the guys where on site within 20 minutes and towed me back into Woolgoolga. They did a complete review of what was needed to fix my car and gave me the news that suggested that the car was not economical to repair even though they had spent time and effort diagnosing and costing they didn’t charge a cent. They even helped me to find a buyer for the wreck.

For honesty and good old fashioned service I don’t think you can go past these guys I will be using them again in the future.
